The Madonna
This veil falls just below the chin and is worn at informal weddings.

The Shoulder length or Flyaway
Usually combined with other lengths for semi-formal weddings or on it’s own
worn with ankle-length gowns.

The Waltz or Elbow length
This veil is used with informal or semi-formal and short length gowns. It is
the perfect veil for the petite bride.

Fingertip-length
This functional popular length. It can have several layers that touch your
fingertips. It works well on all heights, and can be worn at any type of
wedding. It would not compliment highly formal gowns.

Mantilla
Lace made or trimmed with lace. This veil comes in a variety of lengths. This
Spanish looking veil drops into a circular shape at the bottom. This veil is
formal and has a vintage look.

Cathedral
Cascading at least 3 ½ yards from the head, or ten feet long.Best worn
at highly formal weddings and wedding gowns with cathedral length trains.

Shawl
This veil looks like a shawl in the front covering the shoulders, with along
length at the back. This veil works well with both chapel and cathedral length
gowns.

Waterfall
Flows out from the top of the head like a waterfall. This veil comes in many
lengths and in one or more layers of tulle.

Chapel-Length
Flowing 2 1/3 yards from the head or seven feet long. This veil reaches the
floor, and may be combined with one or two shorter layers. This veil should
only be worn with a chapel floor length gown, or a cathedral length gown, or
with a sweep train. Worn at semi-formal and formal weddings.

Blusher
This veil is worn over the face, and is lifted up at the ceremony. It should be
detachable. It comes in shoulder or elbow length. Veils can be accented with
Austrian crystals, pearls, beading, or edged with ribbon, or lace. Make sure
that the material, beads used match the details on your gown.
